On December 12th our society gathered for our annual Christmas party & society meeting. This year we were blessed by Romeo and Linda Montalvo as they offered up
their beautiful home and garden to host the event. This is usually our largest society gathering of the year and it takes a lot to host upwards of
70 members. As usual, the Montalvo's hosted a great society meeting and everyone enjoyed the food and festivities. We also held out traditional
"palm' related gift exchange. Members that wanted to participate brought a gift to place under the tree and took a raffle ticket. After the wonderful
meal we randomly picked prices and raffle tickets and enjoyed seeing what gifts everyone got. We want to thank the Montalvo's for their hospitality and
for all the members that came out for the last meeting of 2009. We wish everyone a joyous and prosperous new year!
Our next meeting will be in Brownsville on 16 Jan 09 . Look forward to seeing you at one of the up coming meetings.
