This month the society gathered at Wally and Lilly Winters wholesale nursery/farm. As always our hosts went out of their way
to accommodate our members and provide some beautiful palms for our auction. As members arrived they mingled amongst the palms
and socialized with other members. Before one knew it, it was time to eat. Wally and Lilly provided the main course of brisket
and this was complemented by all the side dishes and desserts that other members brought.
After a delicious meal, we gathered up and had a quick meeting covering the treasury report and the status of forth coming meetings. We also
spoke about the 'Luau' we are planning on having in May at the Port Royal Resort in Port Aransas. After the meeting was concluded we started
on the palm auction. Wally once again provided some beautiful palms for our members to bid on.
